The visit covered the following thematic areas:

- EMS: The delegation visited an ambulance station that was supported by AutRC and learned about the emergency medical services provided by the Rwanda Red Cross (RRC).

- Climate Change and WASH: The delegation interacted with beneficiaries of climate resilient livelihood interventions and visited RRC nursery sites that support reafforestation efforts by planting 1Million trees per year. The team joined a tree planting activity and named the trees as a sign of appreciation and friendship.

- Meeting with district branches and stakeholders: The delegation met with representatives of the district branches and local authorities to understand the cooperation between the National Society and its partners. They also attended the inauguration of a newly constructed branch office in Nyamasheke district supported by AutRC.
